So much of life is about timing; tapping into nature’s rhythms can be very helpful and easier than you may think. If you want something to grow, you want to time it with a growing or waxing Moon. If you want something to end you want a decreasing or waning Moon. I have learned the art of moon cycles and their importantance in scheduling meeting to close deals and get paid. Try closing a deal and getting paid when Mercury is retrograde! Mercury is finally going direct October 9!!

The Moon is considered to be growing from the New Moon to the Full Moon. The increasing energy is reflected by the Moonlight. She is considered to be decreasing or waning from the Full Moon to the New Moon. The Moonlight is decreasing.

 I have found that working with the natural cycles helps business to flow naturally. The New Moon is like a new beginning, the energy is fresh, new and growing. The Full Moon is the time of fruition and for bringing things to completion. The week before the New Moon is an excellent time for meditation and all forms of inner searching, making the invisible visible.

The Moon visits each of the twelve astral houses for approximately two and a quarter days, in her 28 day journey around the Earth.

 I have made the following observations of how the Moon Phases traveling through the 12 astral houses can affect business and our personal lives: 

ARIES: An impulsive, bold and lively mood, physical energy runs high, a good time to start something, enjoy sports, and constructing things. Good for things involving the head, going it alone, feeling invincible. A great time to go out by yourself if you are single. Watch the tendency to be stubborn or indulge in head trips. A good time to let you head rule your heart and emotions. Watch out for getting the “Big Head” and not listening to ideas generated by others, or taking their ideas and not giving them credit. As Aries rules the head, a great time to brain storm.

TAURUS: A time for mellowing out with  other executives, indulging, great for enjoying good food, great wine, great sex and other pleasures of the senses. This is a great time for making a budget your department can stick by, working on financial statements, seeking venture capital, making new banking and business relationships, signing lasting contracts and agreements, and working with family business. This also a good time to deal with industries with an Earth connection, mining, forestry, iron ore, gold, silver and platinum. Beware of people pushing your buttons and causing you to “see red.” Watch out for overindulging in rich foods, sweets and alcohol during dinner meetings.

 GEMINI : Time for action, laughter and communication, enjoy meeting friends intellectual pursuits and talks, reading, writing, crafts, studying, moving and traveling. In business, a great time for intellectual property management, protection,  and audits. Great time to send press releases, giving press conferences, product launches and anything having to do with the media. This is a time to write technical reports, company blogs, newsletters, orgainze get-togethers, intranet activities, and meet with marketing team. This is an auspious time for filming, TV, radio and internet promotion. This can also be a time for duplicity, cheating on your mate, stealing intellectual property in the workplace, saying one thing and doing another, getting more than one company to compete for a deal or you.

 CANCER: Moods will be sensitive and emotional, so tread lightly. Tears may flow at this time.  LEO: This is party and networking time! A warm, friendly mood, good for entertainment and company indulgence. There’s also romance in the air so express yourself in royal style. Get decked out in your most flamboyant dress, you can pull it off under this moon phase. Wear red or other colors that make you feel regal. This is a great time for self- promotion, asking for deserving testimonial or reference letters. This is a great time to motivate staff, especially in sales.

 VIRGO: This is time to get organized, fix and finish things. The mood is useful and helpful. Enjoy health foods, health food stores and pharmacy, crafts, detailed work and planning. A great time to have a makeover. This can also be a time for over use of prescription drugs or instances of being a hypochondriac. Beware of overworking, being a workaholic, over medicating. This is great time to just plain listen and not take immediate action. Also a good time to schedule IT network repairs, trying new software, or techs.

 LIBRA: This is a time for balance and an agreeable time for all relationships, including building successful power teams. This is a great time for mediation, arbitration and out of court settlements. There is an aura of co-operation, urging you to be collaborative versus competitive. Great time to hire interior decorating services, making offices beautiful, or initiate law suits. Great time to buy business attire and work clothes. This may also be a good time to hang out with friends. This can also be a time of indecision and inertia in corporate decision making.

 SCORPIO: Feelings are now intense. You are introspective and insightful. A good time for self-healing and alternative therapies. A great time for checkups concerning the genitals, i.e. pap smears in woman, prostrate in men. This may be a good time for mammogram, ultra sound, as October is Breast Cancer awareness month. Please keep the secrets of co-workers, friends, family, try hard to keep your mouth shut. A great time for sex and being intimate. This is an excellent time for synchronicity, psychic awareness, intuition, prayer, meditation. If you have been down, a great time to rise like a Phoenix from the ashes. Be careful, company secrets, scandals, whistleblowing leaked during this phase.

This may be a time for corporate vision quest, with a definite intent and under guided supervision. Great time for psychic readings, oracles and intuitive tools to gain competitive edge.

 SAGITTARIUS: A great time for being outdoors, going on safari, camping, and a company retreat or doing something adventurous.   Be a hedonist; enjoy life and all it has to offer. Since engaging in meditation, my sense of perception and synchronicity is amplified. It is as if I have access to a peace portal. I find that I am often able to assist friends and colleagues with unique solutions to vital issues.
